
Christina DiMare is a certified speech-language pathologist whose expertise in voice science and musical storytelling shape her teaching method. Having gone through her own vocal healing journey, she is passionate about destigmatizing and demystifying vocal injury in the performing voice and helping singers to rekindle their love of singing through education, sciene-based techniques, and lots of joy and laughter!
Christina was mentored by experts in the voice field including Sarah Brown, SLP; Shirley Gherson, SLP; Natalie Chiappetta, SLP; Amanda Hembree, SLP; Dr. Aaron Johnson; Dr. Paul Kwak; and Dr. Milan Amin.
She has completed training courses in Conversational Training Therapy (CTT) with Dr. Jackie Gartner Schmidt; LMRVT with Dr. Kittie Verdolini; manual massage for voice professionals with Christine Schneider; and holds a certificate from BroadwayVox. Her research has been featured at conferences including Fall Voice.
She teaches singing voice through the renowned SKB Voice Studio and is currently accepting new students. She offers traditional speech-language pathology services for voice, swallowing, language, stuttering, and aphasia through Westside Voice and Swallowing, associated with the Mount Sinai health system.
