Christina DiMare is a New York City-based performer, certified speech-language pathologist, voice teacher, and creative whose career is built on her deep belief in the power of intersecting passions. She holds a master's degree in speech-language pathology from NYU and a BFA in acting from Syracuse University.
As a performer, Christina has appeared in New York City and regionally. Favorite credits include Matilda the Musical at Syracuse Stage (5-track swing), Singin’ in the Rain at North Shore Music Theatre, and Kathy Selden in Singin’ in the Rain.
During her graduate studies, she specialized in working with professional singers and treating vocal injury and disorder. In her final semester, she trained at the NYU Langone Voice Center by day while assisting on the Tony Award–winning Broadway production of Suffs by night. After becoming a licensed speech-language pathologist, she joined Sarah Brown’s voice studio as an associate teacher, working with singers of all levels. She also treats patients with a range of voice and swallowing disorders at Westside Voice and Swallowing.
In addition to her performance and clinical work, Christina is deeply committed to the development of new art. Since 2023, she has worked for two-time Tony Award winner Shaina Taub, contributing to the Broadway production of Suffs, its Grammy-nominated cast album, and a range of other projects. Her work includes serving as a line producer for Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series and Broadway Votes’ recording of “Keep Marching,” featuring Alex Newell and Broadway Inspirational Voices. She has worked as an assistant director, script assistant on new musicals in development, and as an actor advocate on the new play Kinderkrankenhaus.
Christina is currently developing her own original musical, inspired by her experiences at the crossroads of art and healthcare.
